Travel is not only the places you’ll go and the sights you see, but it’s all about the people you encounter along the way. What a privilege to get to travel around Europe with 28 of the nicest people you could hope to meet! ❤️🇪🇺 #ciaobellas
In the last 2 years, I’ve spent more time in Vienna than any other European city, it was so nice to revisit at Christmas time, explore the Christmas markets and share my favourite European city with my newfound Kiwi friends! 🥝 🇦🇹 🇪🇺🎄☃️ #KiwisInAustria #vienna #homeawayfromhome
Baby, it’s cold outside. #krakow #winter #christmas #specialk #zoominonthek
Imagine all the people, living for today. ❤️ #prague #christmas #peace #winter 🎅🏻✌🏻🎄❄️⛄️🇨🇿
Yesterday was the Bexhill Santa Run! Perfect day for it and a great chance to raise some awareness and money for @clapacommunity. With a time of 30 minutes for the 5km course I was pretty happy! A special thank you to my good friend @bidsandri and my Great Aunt Anthea who came down to support! A big thank you to all those who have sponsored me - if you’d like to, it’s not too late - find out more about why I did this and donate here: www.justgiving.com/kardouin 🎅🏻🙌🏻❤️
I’ve just finished this excellent book by @mattzhaig - spoiler alert, there’s many reasons to stick around. Yes, life can be jolly hard for all of us sometimes, I sometimes wonder if only I could see myself the way other people see me, then perhaps it’d be an easier ride; but brains aren’t so straightforward. This world can feel lonely, we can often feel that we are the only person who’s ever felt a certain way, leaving us feeling isolated and weird. This gem of a book reminded me that other people have feelings of inadequacy too, and rather than becoming frustrated at all the things I’m not, to recognise that to feel feeling so deeply is to be in touch with what makes me human, and although I might not be a perfect or particularly notable human, I hope that one day I’ll reflect back and feel that the world was a slightly better place with me in it. ✌🏻
